I am a single public sector employee who is trading his way to an early retirement.  I’m ambitiously aiming for 20% returns in the stock market, which will give me over $500K in 9 years.  For those of you who don’t think retiring on $500K is possible, just have a look at Derek Foster.  Yes, I realize that $500K 9 years from now will likely be worth something like $350K in today’s dollars, but I also have my corporate pension plan as well.

I have developed my stock trading methods over the past 10 years from the many books/articles I’ve read and most importantly through the act of trading.  I’m grateful for making and losing five-figure sums daily during the great stock market bubble during the late 1990’s-early 2000 as it led to my discovery of a more stable and robust method of trading the stock market.  Now it’s time to put my methods to the test.
